DIALOGUE 8: NAIDA'S SUICIDE

(Naida rushes out of the Centre, running to the mountain to her monster-saucer, while Vega forces attack the Centre itself)
Naida: Forgive me, Duke, for having let you suffer! I loved you really!

(Naida is driving her monster-saucer against the Vega fleet of mini-UFOs and the monster Dari Dari)

Naida (to herself): I'm sorry, Duke. You were the only one able to take revenge of our humiliation and our anger for the downfall of Planet Fleed. You were our only endless hope. Forgive me for having taken an action which could annihilate it. (Naida activates one of the protonic bombs which are onboard of her saucer). If you could succeed in escaping with the opportunity I am going to create, run away! And one day, the Vega Empire…(the sentence remains interrupted) If it is for this, if it is for this, for me it's not a pity to lose my life. Now I'm arriving, Vega Allied Forces!

(Just in that moment, Grendizer arrives on the scene)
Duke Fleed: (on the radio) Naida, Naida! Do you hear me, Naida? If you listen, answer me!!!

Naida (to herself): Duke! It's just as well, have you regained your conscience?

Duke Fleed: (on the radio) Naida, come back immediately! (Naida doesn't answer him and keeps her route fixed) Naida, stop it, stop it! Don't do it!!!

(Despite Duke Fleed's tentative to change her mind, and Grendizer's attempt to obstruct the saucer, Naida lets her saucer exploding against Vega fleet)
Naida (screaming while the explosion starts): Duke!

(Dari Dari monster and all mini-UFOs explode in the air.)
Duke Fleed: Naida, Naida! (he opens the helmet, watching the explosion scene and starts to cry)

Duke Fleed: Naida, I swear you to wipe out Vega Allied Forces at all costs, in order the tragedy of our Planet Fleed to not be repeated again, for the peace in all the universe. (Grendizer traces the name of Naida ¹ in the sky before disappearing in the daylight)

¹ Grendizer writes Naida’s name in katakana alphabet (it is an alien name).
