ANALYSIS ABOUT NAIDA

ORIGINAL DIALOGUES OF EPISODE 25

DIALOGUE 6: HANGAR SCENE (first part)

(During the night, Naida enters secretly in Grendizer hangar, avoiding the Centre surveillance. She is alone in the big room.)

Naida: Finally I have found it. If only Grendizer disappears…!
(she holds a little bomb in her hands)
Naida: Only with this little protonic bomb I can turn Grendizer in pieces.
(Naida activates the bomb, then starts to walk on Grendizer launch ramp. Suddenly Daisuke appears from above, launching himself towards Naida from the usual transportation device, without transforming himself in Duke Fleed.)

Daisuke (shouting): Pay attention!
(Daisuke carries Naida outside the launch ramp, falling together with her on the hangar floor)

Daisuke: Naida, you shouldn't have done that. You were close to be burned to death.
(Naida is staring at Daisuke with a hateful eyesight, without answering him a word and keeping one hand behind her back)

Daisuke: Have you forgotten the fact that, when Grendizer is approached by somebody different from myself, it removes him automatically?
(Daisuke notices her strange position)

Daisuke: What are you hiding?
(Daisuke grasps Naida's right arm, forcing her to show him the object she is holding, then throwing away from her hand)
Daisuke: A protonic bomb??? (Daisuke is upset) Why such a thing? Why?

Naida: (standing up) For blowing up you. For blowing up a traitor!
(she assaults Daisuke in order to get back the bomb, but he resists and pulls her on the floor again. Daisuke is more upset.)

Daisuke: Why should I be a traitor???

Naida (standing up again): Would you tell me you have forgotten it? When we went through the total attack of Vega Allied Forces ¹, and we were running away and calling for help, you have escaped getting onboard of Grendizer, the only Protective God ² of Planet Fleed!

Daisuke: This is not true! I have fought up to the end, and, considering that Planet Fleed was wiped out, as I did not have any alternative I escaped to Earth.

Naida: It wasn't wiped out. You see I am alive!

Daisuke (hesitating): B..but…
Naida: I don't want excuses anymore. You are a traitor who, in order to save only himself, has abandoned us and escaped away.
Daisuke: Naida! Telling so is a bit too much...
