DIALOGUE 6: HANGAR SCENE (final part)

Naida: (looking up) Even if, up to that day, I have always been affectionate to you, I loved you, now it's all over… (Naida falls on her knees, keeping her head on her hands) I don't absolutely forgive a traitor! Besides, you are going also to cancel the only possibility of surviving which has been given us in desperation!

Naida (standing up again): That monster-saucer ¹ you destroyed full of confidence some days ago was a Fleed inhabitant, do you know this? (totally upset from this news, Daisuke lets the bomb falling from his hand and rolling in an air hole, where it explodes damaging a bit the Grendizer launch ramp)

(The sound of the explosion awakes Umon)
Umon: What was that rumour?

Naida: The brains of Planet Fleed inhabitants are used for the monster-saucers, you know? ² (Naida is still in front of Daisuke in the hangar)

Naida: They are brains whose conscience has been annihilated and has been inseminated with fidelity to Planet Vega inhabitants. Do you still remember Enbanju Ghirughiru? That was my brother Sirius! Enbanju Ghirughiru was my brother Sirius!!!
(Naida points to Daisuke, who watches her in horror)

(Naida's brain receives an input from King Vega)
King Vega: Go, Naida! Transform yourself in the flame of hate, and take Duke Fleed's life!

(Daisuke is completely upset and enters in a catatonia state. Naida physicallly changes her aspect in a demon, takes an iron bar and bashes a still catatonic Daisuke on his head, leaving him hurt and passed out on the floor. At this point, Koji and Umon rush in the hangar. Naida assaults them, still in the demoniac aspect)

(Umon shoots her with a stun gun, so she passes out.)
Koji: Did you kill her?
Umon: No, it was only a stun gun. Take her to the medical center immediately.

FIRST COMMENTS

Daisuke's words in the hangar are the first reference in the anime of the existence of an identification code in Grendizer that allows only Duke Fleed to have exclusive access to the robot. Naida speaks of Goldrake as "protective God": literally: "Guardian Angel".
